Last night’s #workout @xtendbarrebh kicked my butt (literally) and I’m super sore today - ah don’t you just love that feeling? It’s funny how our bodies get comfortable with one type of exercise and any anything different is a whole new beast! Two weeks until Bliss Out Retreats with @stewartsarahanne in #Rincon, and we are getting into tip top shape thanks to our sexy #healthy friend @jennysansouci #30daysofmovement

Tip: Try out Xtend Barre in #brooklyn heights for a heart-pumping, anxiety diffusing #barre class. Dance-inspired cardio workouts are completely out of my comfort zone which is why I am making the commitment to go back for more! Especially being a bendy #yogi, I’m lacking some #strength in my core and legs. Must. Get. Stronger. #fitness

Yoga can happen from the outside in or the inside out. You can look at a pose or picture of someone else or the person next to you in class and try and move and pose and make your body in the same shape, which has nothing to do with you and will create tension and struggle in your body and mind. Or you can move from the inside out, finding your own way into the movements, allowing your body to move with ease, cultivating a strong, healthy body and calm capable mind. Moving from the inside out you’ll be able to do much more with less effort. Have fun, stay easy and enjoy the ride!

Classes this weekend are as follows:
Saturday - 10-11:15am and 12-1pm at YoGanesh Yoga
