Live.
Happiness and bliss are transient, which is why we have to keep on pursuing whatever spurs our curiousity and brings us excitement.
I find bliss in the simplicity of life - taking a deep breath of crisp spring morning air… savoring the first sip of coffee in the morning… running wherever my feet take me without thinking of a set route or direction… thinking of everything I’m thankful for when I close my eyes each night…
And I also find bliss in all the adventures I embark on - sometimes you just have to let go of your fears and what’s holding you back and you will discover brand new passions you never knew you had. Surfing, yoga, running, those are passions I’ve discovered and sometimes there is something inside me that is sort of like fear of the unknown, but then I embrace it, and it pumps energy into my veins and I’m on fire.
There is something you need to know about me to understand why I am always smiling. Horses - majestic, graceful creatures. The feeling of life that fills my soul when I’m riding, it’s overwhelming. The synergy between horse and rider is something that is so overwhelming to feel. The breeze in my hair and seeing the field blur as we canter past, that is bliss. It’s funny, I have pictures upon pictures of me riding, from when I started at age 10, to just recently when I was in Hawaii. Every single picture - whether I’m jumping or galloping, there is this huge ear-to-ear smile on my face. No worries in the world, just pure bliss. That is how I want to feel every day, if someone snaps an unexpected picture, I want my happiness to be evident. Keep smiling, keep enjoying every moment. I look for the positivity in even the toughest situations, because I don’t see the point to waste any time dwelling and being negative. Live is short - it really is. Live your life, and do what you love. If you don’t know what it is you love, step out of your everyday comforts and stretch your limits. It’s never too late to find happiness, to find true life.
What’s holding you back?
